Energy Core

Displays your remaining energy.

Gathering Spots

Approach a gathering spot and press the assigned button to gather ingredients and materials.

The kinds of ingredients you gather and the gathering method vary depending on the gathering spot.

Gathering from High Places

Some gathering spots are found in high places. Gathering from these spots will require you to perform actions such as wall jumping or shooting.

Ingredients you gather will be collected in your basket and can be used for things like synthesis.

Ingredients and materials in your basket will be transferred to a container once you return to a base with a container.

Compass

Shows the direction Yumia is currently facing as well as the distance and direction to nearby bases and quests you are tracking.

Minimap

A map displaying your current surroundings.

Shows information on the surrounding area and enemies.

Monsters

Making contact with monsters will initiate combat. Swinging at and hitting an enemy with your weapon will give you an advantage at the start of combat.

Shooting to Stun

Shooting at and hitting an enemy will begin combat with enemies in a stunned state.

The amount of ammo necessary to stun foes varies depending on the enemy.

Certain enemies cannot be stunned even when shot.

Fierce Enemies

From time to time, you will encounter enemies that are larger than regular monsters.

These enemies have more HP and hit much harder than your average monster, but they drop rare ingredients when defeated.

Tracked Quest

Displays the quest you are currently tracking and its progress.

You can turn tracking for a quest on or off from Quests in the main menu.

Mana Circulators

These buildings scattered across the land contain special pedestals.

You can unlock these pedestals by consuming energy. Doing so will lift the fog covering parts of the map.

Once a Mana Circulator has been unlocked, it can be fast traveled to via the map.

Building

When certain Mana Circulators are activated, they will allow you to build bases in nearby building areas.

The size of the building area depends on how large the Mana Circulator is.

Old Guide Towers

Examining an Old Guide Tower will unlock it and allow you to use it as a fast travel point.

Unlocking one will also give you a small amount of energy.

Ruins

Ruins are the remains of a past civilization.

By exploring them, you may obtain rare items or ingredients (Relic Treasure).

Relic Treasure can only be gathered from ruins.

Special Memory Vials

Ruins contain special Memory Vials which, once obtained, allow you to initiate a long-range scan.

The scan will show you the locations of the treasure and relics hidden within the ruins.

Open treasure chests to obtain a variety of items.

Broken treasure chests must be repaired before they can be opened.

Treasure in High Places

Some treasure chests are found in high places. These chests can be opened by shooting them.

Treasure Troves

These buildings contain treasure chests with rare items such as building blueprints.

You can open a Treasure Trove with a Treasure Trove Key.

Treasure Trove Keys can be obtained from places like ruins.

Shrines of Prayer

Investigate these structures to learn the location of nearby relay devices.

Interacting with a Shrine of Prayer again after the relay device has been activated will grant you Energy Prisms .

This can only be done once per location.

Relay Devices

Devices used to reactivate Shrines of Prayer.

Relay devices can be activated by fulfilling certain conditions.

These conditions vary for each relay device.

Enhancing the Energy Core

You can use Energy Prisms to enhance your Energy Core while at a Shrine of Prayer.

Enhancing your Energy Core can imbue it with a host of effects, such as:

  • - Increasing its max energy
  • - Halving the amount of energy consumed when falling from high places
  • - Decreasing the amount of energy consumed when exploring manabound areas

Small Shrines

Investigating or shooting these structures will grant you a small amount of Energy Shards.

Once you have collected 10 Energy Shards, they will automatically be turned into an Energy Prism.

Mana Geysers

Geysers that spout mana which has accumulated within the earth.

Following a flow of blue mana will lead you to mana geysers.

Interact with mana geysers to collect particles.

These particles can be used for things like Recipe Recall and enhancements.

Mana Rift Crystals

Crystals containing a unique power.

Following a flow of red mana will lead you to mana rift crystals.

Interacting with these crystals will trigger a series of monster battles.

You will receive rewards like particles and Trait Crystals based on the difficulty of the challenge.

You will not receive rewards if you run away or lose any of the battles.

Investigation Squads

After clearing a manabound area, Investigation Squads will begin to research the area.

You can receive items by interacting with squad members or rescuing them from monsters.

Wandering Alber

These Alber traverse the land.

Talk to them to receive one random ingredient native to the area where you found them.

Shops

Shops sell a variety of useful wares such as ingredients, items, and blueprints.

You can trade for these wares by exchanging items according to the designated rate.

Shops can also be found near building areas.
