Battle Settings

Combat Settings lets you change your team's equipment, skills, and items.

Equipment

Change your equipment.

A character can equip a weapon, a piece of armor, and up to two accessories.

You can also use this menu to add Trait Crystals to your weapons, armor, and accessories.

Allows you to view the stats of your party members.

Lv.

A character's level.

Increase a character's level to improve their abilities.

You can level up characters by gaining experience points (EXP) in combat.

HP

Decreases when you take damage. Once your character's HP reaches 0, they are KO'd.

Returning to a base fully restores your HP.

DEF

Affects how much damage you take from enemies.

SPD

The larger the value, the more of a boost to ATK, DEF, and SPD you will get.

Elemental Resistance

Shows your resistance to each element.

This screen allows you to set the skills you will use in battle.

You can select items from your container when at a base or from your basket when somewhere else.

Setting Trait Crystals

You can set Trait Crystals on items that have trait slots.

Setting Trait Crystals will make your items even stronger.

You can unlock more trait slots by activating Trait Alchemy Cores during synthesis.

You cannot set two or more Trait Crystals that have the same name and level.

Registering Gear Sets

You can register Trait Crystal combinations to items as Gear Sets.

By registering Gear Sets, you can easily use the same Trait Crystal combinations on other items, too.
