Battle Settings
Combat Settings lets you change your team's equipment, skills, and items.
Equipment
Change your equipment.
A character can equip a weapon, a piece of armor, and up to two accessories.

You can also use this menu to add Trait Crystals to your weapons, armor, and accessories.
Stats
Allows you to view the stats of your party members.
Lv.
A character's level.
Increase a character's level to improve their abilities.
You can level up characters by gaining experience points (EXP) in combat.
Next
The amount of EXP needed to reach the next level.
HP
Decreases when you take damage. Once your character's HP reaches 0, they are KO'd.
Returning to a base fully restores your HP.
ATK
Affects how much damage you deal to enemies.
DEF
Affects how much damage you take from enemies.
SPD
Affects movement speed, cooldown length, and the critical hit rate of attacks.
Equipment Quality
The total quality of all of your equipment (weapon, armor, and accessories).
The larger the value, the more of a boost to ATK, DEF, and SPD you will get.
Elemental Resistance
Shows your resistance to each element.
Skills
This screen allows you to set the skills you will use in battle.

Checking Passive Skills
You can check which passive skills you have by pressing the following buttons.
Passive skills are activated automatically during combat.

Items
Change the items to use during combat.
You can select items from your container when at a base or from your basket when somewhere else.
Setting Trait Crystals
You can set Trait Crystals on items that have trait slots.
Setting Trait Crystals will make your items even stronger.
You can unlock more trait slots by activating Trait Alchemy Cores during synthesis.
You cannot set two or more Trait Crystals that have the same name and level.

Registering Gear Sets
You can register Trait Crystal combinations to items as Gear Sets.
By registering Gear Sets, you can easily use the same Trait Crystal combinations on other items, too.
