New Elements

The Expansion Pack includes the new elements below.

Turning Points

Turning Points have a wide range of effects that significantly impact every force on the map. For example, when the Turning Point Invasion of Foreign Tribes occurs, independent armies formed by foreign forces will appear in multiple cities. The Turning Point Evil Runs Rampant causes transport and reinforcements to become unavailable.
Events such as battles and disasters will increase Chance, eventually triggering Turning Points.

Gems

You can expend Mettle to unlock Gems, which will grant various effects, such as increasing your Stats or unlocking new actions.
Mettle can be obtained by interacting with officers, increasing rank or reputation, and undergoing self-improvement at shrines.

Might

Might

Chieftains have been given a new stat called Might. Acquiring enough Might will trigger special endings.
Unlocking Chieftain type Gems enables the use of Might to enjoy a range of new gameplay options.
You can increase the Might of chieftains by achieving victory in battles, employing officers, unlocking Rituals via Gems, and other such actions. As your Might increases, you can take part in wagers where gold and Might are on the line rather than control of a city. During military mediations, Might can also be used to help facilitate diplomatic agreements.
