Skills
Skills are divided into three categories: common skills, Samurai skills, and Ninja skills. You can learn new skills by acquiring Secret Skills Texts.
Skill Capacity
This value reflects how many skills you can activate. Each skill has its own cost, and you can activate as many skills as you want, as long as the total cost is within your skill capacity. Common skills, Samurai skills, and Ninja skills each have their own skill capacity.
Skill capacity can be increased by acquiring the texts and memorandums applicable to each category.
Martial Arts/Ninjutsu
You can use Samurai Points and Ninja Points to learn Martial Arts and Ninjutsu respectively. These points can be acquired using Samurai's Locks and Ninja's Locks. Additionally, points can be reset and reassigned at any time.
The Martial Arts and Ninjutsu that you learn can be set via "Customize Martial Arts/Ninjutsu" in the Main Menu.
Onmyo Magic
By setting a Soul Core in your Onmyo Box, you'll be able to use the corresponding Onmyo Magic. Onmyo Magic can also be assigned to an item shortcut.
Onmyo Magic uses can be restored by praying at a shrine.
Summoning Seals
Summoning Seals are a type of Onmyo Magic you can use by setting a Soul Core in the Yang Position of your Onmyo Box. Using one allows you to summon the yokai corresponding to your set Soul Core to attack your enemies.
Note: To unlock a Summoning Seal, you must defeat the corresponding yokai's Crucible Wraith. Crucible Wraiths are particularly powerful yokai that have been strengthened by the Crucible.
