Exploration
Gathering
You can gather ingredients by swinging your weapon at gathering spots.
Ingredients dropped when your swing hits will be collected automatically.
Gathering Tools
At certain gathering spots, you can only gather if you have the appropriate tool equipped, such as a Sickle, Axe, or Bug Net.
Gathering tools can be equipped under "Exploration Equipment" in the main menu.
Switch Player Character
You can switch between controlling either Rias or Slade.
The field actions that you can perform differ depending on the character you are controlling.
Field Actions
Can be performed at certain spots while in the field.
Rias and Slade each have different field actions that they can perform.
Rias's Field Action
Can be performed at specific spots that glow blue. You can use this field action to traverse cliffs and ledges.
Once certain conditions are met, you can perform actions at spots that glow other colors as well.
Slade's Field Action
Can destroy certain distinctive-looking rocks.
When certain conditions are met, the types of rocks you can destroy will increase.
Exploration Gear
Tools that automatically provide beneficial effects for exploration when equipped.
Can be equipped from "Exploration Equipment" under the main menu.
