Graphics Settings
Shared Between All Platforms
These settings are available on all platforms, including the Steam® version.
| Brightness | Set the screen brightness. |

| Depth of Field | Set the level of blur that is applied to objects that are not in focus. |
| Motion Blur | Turn blur effects around objects when in motion on or off. |
| Bloom | Turn the glow around light on or off. |
| Light Shafts | Turn light ray effects on or off. |
Steam® Version Settings
These settings are only available in the Steam® version of the game.
If the game is running slowly, adjusting the graphics settings may improve performance.
| Screen Resolution | Set the screen resolution by selecting from a list of available options. |

| Window Settings | Set the window mode. You can choose between "Fullscreen," "Default," and "Borderless." |
| Overall Quality | Set the overall quality of the graphics. If any individual option is set separately, Overall Graphics Quality will automatically switch to "Custom." |
| Texture Quality | Set the quality of textures. |
| Shadow Quality | Set the quality of shadows. |
| Terrain Quality | Set the quality of terrain. |
| Rain Quality | Set the quality of rain. |
| Water Quality | Set the quality of water. |
| Intel® Xess | Set the use of resolution scaling to improve image quality and frame rate. If unavailable, this setting will be set to "Off." If available, this setting defaults to "Balanced." |
| Anti-Aliasing | Adjusts the smoothing of object edges. Available options are "MSAA×8," "MSAA×4," "MSAA×2," "FXAA," and "OFF," in order of highest to lowest quality and processing load. |
| Draw Distance | Set the distance at which objects are displayed. |

| Point Light Distance | Set the distance at which light sources are displayed. |
| Shadow Draw Distance | Set the distance at which shadows are displayed. |
| Grass Draw Distance | Set the distance at which grass is displayed. |
| Grass Density | Set the density of grass. |
| NPC Density | Set the number of NPCs that appear. |
| Enemy Density Limit | Set the function that limits the number of enemies that are displayed when a certain number is reached. |
| Field Model Animation Distance | Set the distance at which models in the field are animated. |
| Volumetric Fog | Turn volumetric fog, which simulates light passing through fog and other particles, on or off. |
| LOD Distance | Set the function that changes the number of polygons used to render objects based on how far away they are. Available options are "Long," "Normal," and "Short," in order of highest to lowest quality and processing load. |
| VSync | Turn the function that matches the game's framerate with the monitor's refresh rate on or off. |
| Frame Rate Limit | Set the maximum frame rate. |
| HDR | Turn the function that expands the range of displayable brightness on or off. |
