Samurai Style

Samurai Style enhances your attack power and guard capabilities, which is ideal for battling enemies head-to-head.

The following are the fundamental actions of the Samurai Style:

Ki Pulse

3200-01

When you're surrounded by blue light after attacking, the action below becomes available.

Performing a Ki Pulse restores some of the Ki consumed by your attack.

Yokai Realm and Purifications

A Yokai Realm is a peculiar area generated by Yokai. Any human who enters a Yokai Realm pool will find their Ki recovery speed greatly reduced.

You can dispel a Yokai Realm pool by performing a Ki Pulse inside it.

Arts Proficiency

3200-02ww

The Arts Gauge can be charged by attacking and guarding against enemy attacks. When the gauge is full, using a Strong Attack or Martial Art will deplete the gauge to activate Arts Proficiency.

While Arts Proficiency is active, Strong Attacks and Martial Arts are strengthened in the following ways:

  • - The attack that activates Arts Proficiency consumes zero Ki.
  • - Damage inflicted upon enemies is increased, while Ki consumption is reduced.
  • - Different Martial Arts can be used consecutively.

Deflecting

3200-03ww

Guarding at the precise moment an enemy's attack lands will Deflect the attack.

A successful Deflect negates the Ki consumption of guarding and inflicts Ki damage upon the enemy.

Additionally, it will charge both the Arts Gauge and the Ninjutsu Gauge.

You can use skills once you have acquired them via "Acquire Martial Arts/Ninjutsu" in the Main Menu.

Stance

By switching your weapon stance, you can change your fighting style.

The three stances are High Stance, Mid Stance, and Low Stance, and their features are as follows:

  • High Stance: Excels in offense and deals high damage.
  • Mid Stance: Prioritizes defense with easy-to-use and balanced attacks that are both powerful and leave few openings.
  • Low Stance: Focuses on evasiveness. You don't consume much Ki in this stance, and your movements leave little to no openings for attacks.

You can use High and Low Stance once you have acquired them via "Acquire Martial Arts/Ninjutsu" in the Main Menu.
