New Game
Start a new game. Choose one of the four difficulty levels below to start playing.
| Story | For those who want to focus on the story. Includes gameplay assist mechanics such as death delay and near death recovery. However, you will earn fewer Photo Points. |

| Normal | Standard difficulty. |
| Battle | For those who enjoy challenging combat. Wraiths are stronger, and you can earn more Photo Points. |
| Nightmare | A terrifying difficulty level that becomes available after completing the game once. Wraiths are even stronger, and you can earn many more Photo Points. Unlike other difficulties, Nightmare can only be selected at the start of the game. |
Load
Start the game from previously saved data.
Continue
Start the game from the most recent autosave data.
Options
Adjust camera, controls, sound, brightness, and other settings.
You can also adjust the controls, choose whether the Camera Obscura is set to hold or toggle, and turn subtitles, control guides, vibration, and motion controls* on or off.
*Motion control functions are only available when the Nintendo Switch™ 2 is in handheld mode.
End Game
Quit the game.
