From the chaos of the rival warlords, mainland China was divided into three kingdoms: Wei, Wu and Shu. Next came the kingdom of Jin, gaining supremacy and appearing for the first time in Story Mode, expanding Story Mode into four scenarios. In addition, 'seamless play' is introduced, allowing a seamless progression between event scenes and gameplay. Characters can now equip two weapons and switch between them in real time during battle for a variety of actions on the battlefield.
