Further refining the series concept of the exhilaration of "one vs. thousands" theme, the game introduced new attacks such as evolution and rage attacks, and advancements in graphics. Cao Pi, Ling Tong and Xingcai are playable in battles, increasing the number of playable characters to a series record of 48 characters. In addition, there are scenarios for each character to illustrate each of their lives.
