Based on the concept of playing DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 to the fullest, the game was packed with modes putting forward new ways of play as well as all new replayability elements. For deeper gameplay using DYNASTY WARRIORS 4 as the base, the following features were added: Legend Mode, where stages for each of the 42 characters could be played; the new Xtreme Mode, where random stages appear and players win as many consecutive battles as possible; Level 11 weapons; and even more rare items.
